Vineyards
Just a stone's throw below the church of Kitzeck-Sausal, which can be seen from afar, lies our Ried Steinriegl vineyard. Due to the steepness of this vineyard, the core is terraced. Facing south and particularly favoured microclimatically, this vineyard is situated at an altitude of 480-530m above sea level.
Vinification
Fermentation and ageing take place entirely in neutral oak barrels. Storage on the full lees until early summer (approx. 8 months). The wine is then left on the fine lees for another 3 months until bottling in August.
